Clive Barber Testimony
Baptised as an 8 day old baby and given communion from 6 months old, Clive Barber spent the first 17 years of his life in a legalistic religious sect that held meetings every day of the year. However, in all that time, Clive never learned he was a lost sinner in need of God’s salvation. Excommunicated and told to leave his home at age 17 (for infringing the sect’s rules), Clive turned against Christ, the Bible and Christians. He took to drugs, crime and vandalising churches – but by the grace of God, in Australia, he came under the influence of a saved businessman who gave him a job, a Bible and introduced him to the gospel of Christ. Over a period of months, God brought Clive under deep conviction of sin, until finally he trusted in the Lord Jesus for personal salvation from sin, after hearing the gospel preached by evangelist Norman Mellish (Testimony given 6th July 2018)
The gospel is summarised in these three Bible quotations;
"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God"
"Christ died for our sins"
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved"

The gospel tent
Most summers since 1966 a Gospel Tent has been pitched in and around Bicester for the preaching of the gospel. Next year, 2018, our Tent meetings will run from 17th June to 8th July, with evangelists Craig Munro (Scotland) and Clive Barber (Australia). In 2017 we were in Caversfield. Check back soon to see details of our plans for 2018.
Every week we run a Sunday School (12:45-1:45 pm) and a Tuesday night children's meeting (6:30-7:30 PM). Every fortnight we run TruthSeekers for kids aged 11+ (7:30-9:00 pm). Twice a year we run a week of special children's meetings called Bicester Bible Explorers. This year it starts on Mon 10th Sept at 6:30pm. Transport is provided to all of these events.

Every second Friday of the month we run a youth group called TruthSeekers for Secondary school age children and teenagers. We normally have activities, a message and then finish with some food. Once a quarter we have a special event such as a Barbecue or a Games night.
These classes are for anyone living in the Bicester area who wants to learn English as a Second Language. They are run by Hebron Gospel Hall, a church in Bicester. Each week, we aim to cover a particular topic or area, including practice in writing and speaking. There will also be a chance for you to ask any questions. The last week of each term is a revision week.
The course is offered free of charge. We recommend that students purchase a copy of the coursebook. We can provide subsidised copies for a fee of £5 per person. None of the teachers involved is a qualified English teacher.
Each week, there will also be the opportunity to learn a verse from the Bible in English and a short talk on some of the things we believe at Hebron Gospel Hall.
